Scottish Human Rights Commission meeting February 2012

Human rights and international law should be recognised in the discussion on Scotland's constitutional future.

In a submission on the upcoming referendum on Scotland's constitutional future the Commission calls for recognition of the right to self determination and respect for the rule of law.

The Commission calls for human rights to be embedded in to reforms of police services in Scotland in a consultation submission.

The Commission has contributed to the consultation on the development of Scotland’s Mental Health Strategy 2011-15.
