HumanRights Budget Work: What, Why and How?
These briefing papers explain the "what, why and how" of using humanrights to create and scrutinise Scotland'snational budget.
The papers have been developed by the Scottish HumanRights Commission, the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) and a range of academic and other partners as part of a HumanRights Budget Work project.

On 10 December 2008 the Commission launched a nationwide consultation on the development of its first Strategic Plan. Through an online questionnaire and a series of 18 consultation meetings across the 8 parliamentary regions, we gathered views from the public, private and voluntary sector as well as the general public on a draft document which set out our proposed vision and goals.
