The Scottish HumanRights Commission (SHRC) is Scotland’s humanrights watchdog.
We are an independent, expert body that works with and for the people of Scotland; we monitor... by statute, with a mandate to protect and promote the humanrights of all people in Scotland.
The Commission is established as a NationalHumanRights Institution (NHRI). As such we are part... and nationalhumanrights law and treaties. It is the job of NHRIs to use the rule of law
The Commission has submitted evidence on the impact of COVID-19 on humanrights to an Inquiry by the Equalities and HumanRights Committee of the Scottish Parliament.
