The Commission has submitted written evidence to the Scottish Parliament Justice Committee on Stage 1 of the Inquiries into Fatal Accidents and Sudden Deaths etc. (Scotland) Bill.
Submission to The Carloway Review Consultation Document (on the rights of suspects, the rights of victims and witnesses, and the wider interests of justice).
Members of the Commission meet regularly to set the strategic direction of the Commission and oversee delivery of its Strategic and Operational Plans. Commissioners are also accountable for ensuring effective and efficient use of Commission resources in delivering the Strategic Plan.
Operational and financial decisions are delegated to the executive team through an Operational Scheme of Delegation and a Financial Scheme of Delegation.
