Open letter from Alan Miller, Chair of the Commission 2009-2016, on refugees and asylum seekers (written in his capacity as Chair of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions)
The Commission has responded to the Scottish Government's consultation on a ten year vision for the Mental Health Strategy, calling for more to be done to embed a human rights based approach throughout the strategy.
The Scottish Human Rights Commission has welcomed the human rights concerns raised in the Scottish Parliament Justice Committee’s Stage 1 report on the Prisoners (Control of Release) (Scotland) Bill.
