The Commission has sumbitted a response to the Scottish Government's proposed amendments to mental health legislation in the even of a civil emergency or influenza pandemic.

In May 2009 the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the progress made by the UK in realising the human rights protected by the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
