Creating a Fairer Scotland - Commission contributes to national discussion

The Scottish Human Rights Commission has today published its contribution to the national discussion on creating a Fairer Scotland.

A new briefing, 'Creating a Fairer Scotland: A Human Rights Based Approach to Tackling Poverty', outlines the international human rights standards that underpin social justice and makes a series of recommendations to help realise rights in a fairer Scotland.

On 9 September, the Commission is hosting a round table discussion on human rights in a Fairer Scotland, with a range of government, public sector and civil society representatives.

The briefing is available in Word and PDF.
