A new member of the Scottish Human Rights Commission has been appointed following an open recruitment exercise, the Scottish Parliament announced today. Jane-Claire Judson will take up office as a part-time member of the Commission on 1 September 2017. Her appointment is for 6 years. Ms Judson will replace outgoing Commissioner Matt Smith, who has been in office since 2010.
