A new member of the Scottish Human Rights Commission has been appointed following an open recruitment exercise, the Scottish Parliament announced today.
Jane-Claire Judson will take up office as a part-time member of the Commission on 1 September 2017. Her appointment is for 6 years.
Ms Judson will replace outgoing Commissioner Matt Smith, who has been in office since 2010.
Ms Judson has also recently been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Chest Heart & Stroke
