The Commission worked with the HumanRights Consortium Scotland to hold a series of workshops with civil society organisations and grassroots groups. This research was used to support the Commission's submission to the United Nations Universal Periodic Review of humanrights in the UK.
This briefing paper was submitted to the Barron Review of Forensic Mental Health. It sets out the relevant humanrights framework and makes recommendations about how the Review can take a humanrights based approach to its recommendations.
