The Paris Principles
Our work complies with a set of guidelines called the Paris Principles.
These were adopted by the UN General Assembly and set out specific requirements that an “A Status” NationalHumanRights Institution must fulfil.
In 2023, we published a briefing that was sent to MSPs to mark the 30th anniversary of the Paris Principle.

The InterAction Plan Review Group met for the final time in March 2022, following which it wrote to the Deputy First Minister summarising progress made and providing concluding comments.
