Third sector encouraged to join NGO Forum

The 10th International Conference of National Human Rights Institutions will take place from 8 -10 October 2010 in Edinburgh, on the theme of Business and Human Rights.

It will be preceded by the Non Governmental Organisations Forum on 7 October 2010, and campaigners, activists, charities and voluntary sector organisations are encouraged to apply for a place to join the debate and discussion at the event. The Forum is being organised by a Steering Group that includes the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights and the Scottish Human Rights Commission.

If you or your organisation wishes to apply for a place at the NGO Forum please read the invitation (in PDF format) and the information note (in Word format).

All NGO participants should complete and return the registration form via fax or e-mail to Ms. Biljana Pesut, (E-mail: bpesut@ohchr.org) and Liza Sekaggya (Lsekaggya@ohchr.org) Fax: +41 22 928 9018 with a copy to biennial@scottishhumanrights.com by 22 August 2010 at the latest.

If you require funding to attend the conference please submit the registration form by 7 August 2010 and indicate in your correspondence the name of the NGO and proposed participant together with a copy of your passport.
