National Human Rights Institutions meeting in Edinburgh
The highlight of the two day event will be a lecture from Justice Albie Sachs, a South African Constitutional Court Judge, at the National Gallery of Scotland lecture theatre. We are hosting this in partnership with Scotland's Commissioner for Children and Young People.
Justice Sachs will talk about the enforcement of economic, social and cultural rights before a court of law. He has also been asked to discuss how best to promote and protect the rights of children of prisoners.
