Clare is the Business Manager for the Commission.

Prior to joining the Commission Clare worked in the university sector in Scotland managing a programme of European Regional Development Funded projects in the area of Research Capacity Development. Earlier in her career Clare spent three years working for the Board of Education in Japan teaching English. Clare then worked for three years in Botswana as Programme Manager at British Council where she managed a small team delivering projects in the areas of education, arts, leadership through sport and professional development. Clare studied at the University of Glasgow for a degree in History.
